How to decide a left or right handed keyed entry lever lock?___________________________________

You DO NOT need to decide to purchase the left or right handed lock set unless you want to buy the keyed  
entrance LEVER lock. This means that the round knobs or egg shaped knobs do not require  left or right
definition.

If you plan to purchase the lever lock sets, Please following the steps below and verify the hand side before
making any purchase.

Step 1: Standing outside of the door, that is, the keyed side of the door
Step 2: Look at door and find out the location of the door hinges.
Step 3: If the hinges are located at the left side of the door, you need to purchase the left handed lever
lock. If you find the hinges are at your right side, you need the right handed lever lock set.
Note:    Only Keyed entry lever lock set need this identification. Bedroom, bathroom, passage and storage
How to reverse a lever handle?_________________________________________________________

* Front door handles with levers: Unscrew the lever by small metal bar in the package or a screw driver. Flip
left to right or right to left. Flip again from inside to outside. Screw the lever back.

* Passage and privacy levers: Unscrew the two levers by the small metal bar in the package or screw driver.
Switch the levers and screw back.

* Dummy levers: Unscrew the lever by small metal bar or a screw driver. Flip left to right or right to left. Flip
again from inside to outside. Screw the lever back.

What is a reversible lever handle lock?____________________________________________________

A reversible lever lock set can be used on either left handed or right handed entrance door. Our keyed
entrance lever lock set OH8381 is completely reversible. The lock will be latched from either left or right side.
